Fibre Distribution Hub
Overview
The Connect fibre distribution hub is a cabinet designed for OSP FTTx appli cations. The FDH houses optical splitters that propagate signals from the Headend or Central Office to the distribution cable network that serves fibre to the customers’ premises. The compact and modular design is a cost-effective solution; both the feeder and distribution cables are pre- connectorized and installed in the cabinet, while the splitter bay allows for any brand or size of cassette PLC splitters. A 96 ports parking lot makes it easy to manage unused splitter legs. The cabinet provides excellent fibre management system and a replaceable shell in case of damage. The top of the cabinet has an 8 degree angle to allow for rain and snow to slide off. This cabinet can be either pole, pad or vault mounted.
